Wildlife
Already we're attracting all manner of wildlife. Okay, not all manner, but your regular every day rodent, the mouse. Sean terminated the life of a little one the other day with the lawnmower. A complete mishap and total accident. He felt quite bad about it actually. And now we have a new inhabitant in the garage . . .
Baby bunny! He's very cute, but could pose a threat to future gardening endeavors. He took up residence behind the garbage tote on Friday. We left the door open for a few hours and now . . . no bunny. Our biggest concern was possibly running over him, but we seem to be in the clear. Sean plugged up their little burrow yesterday. Let's hope they'll be gone for good. Is that wishful thinking?

Plugged up the burrow???? NAME THEM. NAME THEM ALL. How cute is that baby bunny?
What a cute little pet! Just kidding. Don't worry about the mouse...it was an accident...and there will be more one day. Glad you are enjoying your new home!
hmmmm....from what I hear, bunnies are generally back in masses! We'll hope not for your sake! And the sake of your future gardening endeavors! :) Heidi
Our cat has been trying to impress us (I think) all summer by leaving rodent presents on the back porch. Disgusting. But if you want to borrow him... :-)
Congrats on the new house!
So cute. I hate mice, so it wouldn't bother me to mow one down. Ok..it would, but really I hate them. Great looking house!
